Meindl Comfort Fit - The boots and shoes in Meindl’s Comfort fit range are typically wider, more generous and more supportive than a standard trekking fit. They are suited to walkers with wider feet who have struggled to find boots to fit them comfortably.
The Meindl Terlan Lady GTX walking boot is a boot suitable for people with wider feet. Being part of Meindl’s Comfort-Fit range it offers excellent support and a natural relaxed fit. The uppers are made from suede and mesh providing a lightweight yet supportive boot. The addition of a GORE-TEX lining ensures that the boot is waterproof and durable in all weather conditions. A rubber rand protects against abrasion on rougher terrain. Fitted with an Air Active Wellness footbed with a wider surface area at the front of the boot. This allows for more movement and support as the foot, particularly the toes, can sit comfortably, guaranteeing stability and unbeatable comfort. The Terlan Lady GTX boasts a Meindl Multigrip (by Vibram) sole with EVA shock absorber meaning reduced impact and lots of cushioning. The Terlan GTX is perfect for hill-walking if you have a wider foot.

Meindl Grade A/B - This category blends the two either side of it – A and B – meaning that these boots are suitable for both leisure and hill walking. They can stride out on footpaths and lower level hills. The main difference between these boots and those in category B is that these boots are more flexible and slightly softer in the upper.

Air-Active® Footbeds - Meindl's Soft Print footbeds are Air-Active for moisture absorbency and feature a Vildona dry sole underside, which pulls moisture away from the foot creating a good foot climate as you walk. Also featuring poron and memory foam, they offer comfort and natural shock absorbency.
Meindl’s Vibram® rubber grip sole with EVA Duo Density shock absorber - Delivers exceptional traction and stability on varied terrain. The durable Vibram® outsole ensures a secure grip, while the dual-density EVA midsole cushions every step, reducing impact and enhancing comfort for long days on the trail.
Variofix® lacing system - Provides a perfect fit and has proven itself over many years and been continually improved. In the heel area, the variofix® system that runs around the heel provides good heel positioning. When lacing up, the free-running “Speedwire” is pulled in closely and evenly around the heel. This guarantees better support.
Suede leather - Made from the underside of animal hide, instead of the tougher outer layer, by brushing or buffing the material. It's more flexible and breathable than full-grain leather. While it is still leather, suede is less rugged and more soft and tactile than traditional smooth leather.
