The Meindl Rapide GTX is from Meindl's Comfort Fit range and offers a wider fit than normal with a luxurious padded footbed for maximum comfort. It's ideal for easier tracks and paths.

Comfort Fit - In comparison to a trekking last, Meindls Comfort fit® last has more space at the front of the foot with a firm grip on the heel. You stand on a wider base. The more defined contour enables easier rollover when walking.
Meindl Comfort Sport Sole - Featured in their Comfort-Fit range, offers a blend of cushioned memory-foam footbed and breathable Air-Active layers that wick moisture and adapt to your foot’s shape for lasting comfort. Suede leather - Made from the underside of animal hide, instead of the tougher outer layer, by brushing or buffing the material. It's more flexible and breathable than full-grain leather. While it is still leather, suede is less rugged and more soft and tactile than traditional smooth leather.
Don't forget! Rinse your shoes off with fresh water after every muddy hike and remember you can refresh the water-resistant coating on your shoes with our sprays and washes.
