Meindl Comfort Fit - The boots and shoes in Meindl’s Comfort fit range are typically wider, more generous and more supportive than a standard trekking fit. They are suited to walkers with wider feet who have struggled to find boots to fit them comfortably.

Thanks to the Comfort Fit, which is wider or broader than the Meindl standard fit, these are extra roomy around the forefoot, giving the toes and front foot more clearance, but still maintaining an excellent secure fit because the boot fits snugly on the heel.

The more defined contour enables easier rollover when walking. The Comfort-fit® cork footbed means more room for toes and more capacity, more ball width and straight adjustment of the big toe, wider stance due to wider sole base and a perfect fit due to the snug-fitting heel.
Nubuck Leather with Wax - Top-grain cowhide leather that’s sanded or buffed on the outside (grain side) to create a soft, suede-like texture. It’s stronger and more durable than suede because it comes from the outer layer of the hide. Nubuck leather with wax is a specially treated leather that blends the soft feel of nubuck with the added durability and water resistance of wax treatment. It's a great balance of comfort and protection - perfect for Irish trails, bogs, and weather.
Meindl Multigrip 3® by Vibram® with PU Shock Absorber - Cleat at the front of the heel projects forwards to provide more bite. profile has an open angle so that it self-cleans in the roll-off movement. Cleats in the centre provide security that the profile grips in all directions. A PU shock absorber delivers firm, durable support with high resistance to compression, making it suitable for long-distance trekking and carrying heavier loads.
