Equipped for demanding mountain hikes and scrambles in uncertain weather, the Firewall Jacket offers 3-layer waterproof protection to keep the elements at bay. With robust 40D Pertex® Shield fabric, it’s built to survive scuffs with rock and pack abrasion, yet is highly breathable and comfortable. When you’re gaining elevation in a turbulent forecast, this protective shell is prepared for anything in your path.

Waterproof Apparel:

FITS

Regular fit: Neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.

Slim fit: A streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting items.

Relaxed fit: A more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.

Expedition fit: Designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.

While all Rab garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker midlayers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

HOW TO MEASURE

Chest: Measure the full circumference of your chest just below your armpits.

Waist: Find the top of your hip and measure the full circumference around your body.

Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of your back, across the shoulder, over a naturally bent elbow and down to the wrist fold.

Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
