Meindl Comfort Fit - The boots and shoes in Meindl’s Comfort fit range are typically wider, more generous and more supportive than a standard trekking fit. They are suited to walkers with wider feet who have struggled to find boots to fit them comfortably.
The Meindl Antelao GTX walking boot is a lightweight boot suitable for people with wider feet. Being part of Meindl’s Comfort-Fit range, it offers excellent support and a natural feeling, relaxed fit.
The uppers are made from suede and mesh providing a lightweight yet supportive frame. The addition of a GORE-TEX lining ensures that the boot is waterproof and durable in all weather conditions. A small rubber rand at the front further protects against abrasion on rougher terrain.
The footbed is extra comfortable made from cork with a wider surface area at the front of the boot. This allows for more movement and support as the foot, particularly the toes, can lay straight. With a fleece covering this footbed guarantees stability and unbeatable comfort.
The Antelao GTX boasts a Meindl Multigrip 3 (by Vibram) with EVA shock absorber and PU shock absorber meaning reduced impact upon each step and lots of cushioning. The Antelao GTX is perfect for light hikes to hill-walking. It is a Meindl B-Grade.

The more defined contour enables easier rollover when walking. The Comfort-fit® cork footbed means more room for toes and more capacity, more ball width and straight adjustment of the big toe, wider stance due to wider sole base and a perfect fit due to the snug-fitting heel.
