High performance 650 fill Berghaus Hydrodown® continues to insulate even when wet, plus this jacket is wrapped in water and wind resistant Pertex® Quantum fabric, which allows the down to fully loft and enhances the effect of the insulation during extended use . Warmth is boosted by the long length, adjustable hood and internal neck baffle. A classic Berghaus ‘Trango’ quilt pattern and other design touches complete this versatile insulated jacket.

Pertex Quantum - An ultra-lightweight, tightly woven outer fabric designed to be windproof, water-resistant, and down-proof, allowing down or synthetic insulation to fully loft for maximum warmth.

Hydrodown® - Goose or duck down treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating, allowing the insulation to resist water, dry faster, and retain its loft and warmth even in damp, wet conditions.

Insulated Apparel:

  1. If present close zips and fastenings
  2. Use front loading machine where possible
  3. Wash separately
  4. Machine wash, gentle cycle, 30 degrees or according to manufacturers instructions
  5. Only use non-bio or technical specific detergent
  6. Rinse thoroughly
  7. Lay flat on clothes horse to drip dry and shake every now and then to restore fluff
  8. If available you can also tumble dry low with 2-3 tennis balls to restore fluff
  • Do not use bleach
  • Do not use fabric softener
  • Do not iron
  • Do not dry clean
