The Penn Squall 212 Boat 30lb makes a very good all round medium/heavy boat rod. It can be used for general bottom fishing as well as deep water drifting. The rod is built using a 2 equal section high quality carbon blank which is light and slim but with plenty of power to handle large fish.
The rod is nicely finished with LTS braid friendly guides, corrosive resistant patented reel fitting that connects directly to the reel via an opening to transmit all the feel of the fish to the angler’s hands. Gold metallic whippings and shaped hard tough wearing HG EVA handle.
